hey ive got a NEVO 175mm pully kit for my gze. When my car runs hot the supercharger shits it self and locks up (doesnt want to boost) the dude i took it to told me im going to have to replace the 175mm pully with the origanal. Has this happend to ne one ekse? Or does ne one know a way to avoid putting the stock pullys back on? ie boost controller
basically his saying its getting to much boost for it 13.5psi
and the supercharger locks up when warm.
i suggest a front mount and he said it wont help. i suggested a new computer he said it wont help!
It seems to be generally accepted that the stock topmount is not big enough for a 175mm pully...Though that may not be the reason your supercharger is locking up.
Are you sure the supercharger locks up? I've had this happen and it invovles lots of belt squeal and smoke. (and trying to drive home an 10% or less throttle)
