when putting a 1g-gte in an ra23 and using a 1 piece ta22 tail shaft do u need to shorten it at all the tail shaft that is

why would you want to use 1 piece tail shaft
you can use the standard ra23 2 pieces

depending on where u put the motor it will directly bolt in!

I would say in a 22 if it came out with a one peice tailshaft you would not have the holes in the floor to bolt in a 2 peice 23 series tailshaft.

I would hazard a guess that you may in fact have to lengthen a TA22 drive shaft if you are fitting a 1G to a RA23. I also reckon that the splines on a '22 driveshaft are different to that from a '23 two piece unit.
And yes, why would you bother when a '23 unit is a direct fit?
It is for my RA23 with 1G-GZE.

the yoke on the ta22 auto is exactly the same as a two piece tail shaft
as for length the one i have is exactly the same length as my 2 piece
also he may want a single piece if he is planning 300rwhp +

yeah lots a power through a 2 piece will make it into a real 2 piece or should i say 2 pieces

What makes you think a 2-piece tailshaft can't handle decent amounts of power? I have a 2-piece in my Supra and I suspect it has more power than your average 1G.
