Hey,
Just wondering if anyone has a 100kw 4age distributor cap that they have no use for. One that is less broken that mine would be much appreciated
Cheers,
Chris

i bought mine from bursens (melb). it shouldn't cost you more than $50 from a decent parts supplier. mine was for a bigport engine, but i don't think that'd make too much difference in price.

Sorry to dig up such an old thread.. But the bigport and smallport dizzy caps are interchangeable are they?
Because i've run into same problem, auto parts stores cannot seem to get the smallport dizzy cap.
Thanks

joel, just take a sample if you can, or the dizzy if you cant.
the cap on my 100kw engine looks to be RWD, but im pretty sure that is because it is not a 100kw dizzy.
funny thing is, the new cap i bought has a different offset between the HT leads and the mounting screws if you know what i mean, hope it doesnt screw with the timing.
i can measure what im pretty sure is the bigport cap if you want, it attatches with two screws if that helps.

They are but the leads are different thickness and may be different lengths as they go to the sparl plugs differently.
I got a new 100kw cap from Mr Revhead within a week of ordering it. Came from NZ but didn't take long and was about $50 including postage - a lot cheaper than the $150 or so Toyota wanted.
Try Mr Revhead.
Cheers,
Phil

Haha yeah annoying as I just got a box of stuff sent over from MR Revhead..
I managed to find one. Seems bosch catalog is wrong at most auto part stores. But in the champion catalog it is listed correctly.
So ordered one local which is good.

Yeah, the 100kw leads are different (read: thinner) than the 88kw, I got one, if you pick it up you can have it, contact me on 0400341255
