i know its doable but is there any problems other than the cam chain bit.

I'v used a 2t gasket on a 2tg a few times now , all you need to do is put a beed of good silicone ( Black Max ) around the front where the timing chain cover meets the head .

exactly what ive done on rg's and TG's A good 4-6mm thick round bead. let is set for about 15 mins then squish it good.
seals almost as well as the proper HG. Smile
