my ae82's driver side lock is fucked, and i always have to unlock the passenger door and reach through. so, whenever im at home i leave my car unlocked due to laziness.

i never keep my uhf or anything else in there though, all i leave in there is my weed Very Happy

Yeh, same sentiment...

Some *%$@# at a Railway station decided to f#xor my passenger door lock, and it means a replacement and re-fit to key for it!

Alarm scared them away, but its something that just shouldnt need to be done!

Completley agree.
BUT, if you are stupid enough not to lock you car, you deserve to have things stolen and/or your car taken. You own a car, you know the risks (or atleast you should), therfore you should take the responsibility to look out for it.

When I had the camry I was working nights and I came out one morning to find the drivers lock had been screwdrivered. The lock was totally stuffed. They took a few cds and stuff like that but I had left the back door unlocked. Why couldnt they have just bloody used that, saved me some money.

On the up side they broke their screwdriver in the lock

You could always consider getting some solex type locks on your doors to replace stuffed locks. i had some on my old ta22 and the previous owner chucked them on so people couldn't use screwdrivers to try and get in.

Only down side is they can get a bit tricky when there is no light, but you just learn to live with two keys for the car, one for the doors and one ignition.

Bloody drugies were doing the rounds, breaking into cars and houses up Ballina way. My old Mum made sure there was nothing of value left in the car, and left the glovebox and centre console open. Her's was the only car not to get a broken window!
The shit you gotta do to keep arseholes away from your stuff!
We lost 2 cars in 2 weeks from our driveway!

regards Chuck.
