Was looking puting new camshafts for the main reason being that vtec n mivec and to powerful these days.

The cost was goin to be to much for the ecu and tuning, how r reginds and hardwelds??

I know TODA make cams for the 3sge, heres some info i got from [crazyracer], which is on these forums and races 3sges in his race car Cool .

I wouldn't especially use a name brand of cams. You just end up paying for the name. Go talk to some of your local cam grinders about your needs. Wade in Melbourne or Tighe in Qld are good places to start. They'll be able to do weld-up and regrinds on your current cams. Talk to them about specs to suit your needs.

Don't forget if you put big cams in you may need to enlarge the valve pockets in the pistons.

Don't forget that if you modify it too much you're going to need to add an after market ECU such as a motec which is big $$$$$

hey i was thinking of the same thing to....today i had to pull my 3sge apart today and i have the cams out im wandering if i should get em done now while its all out..anyone know of prices? im looking for a tad more performace Smile
