All local models come with the 3S-GE, non-turbo. If you want a turbo you have to buy a grey import.

unless they've had an engine swap/turbo bolted on.
How much you looking at spending anyway?? Go the Aw11 and spend left over money on mods, unless ya a show pony and want "looks" (personally i like the aw11 shape better).

showpony? because he wants an sw20, over an aw11? about 95% of people would want an sw20 over a boxy, 80's looking aw11. the aw11 is not a very attracitve car AT ALL. the sw20 on the other hand, looks awseome, and isnt exactly lacking the the perfromance department either.

hmmm sw20 over the aw11?? lets see the only thing the sw20 has over the aw11 is the engine! (besides being newer). I'd go out on a limb and say that if the aw11 was the same age as the sw20 over 50% would choose the aw11 over the sw20!.

you'd need to do a world poll! (not many mr2 owners on here and most do own aw11's)
oh and if you do a poll on racers using aw11's i'd increase the "goin out on the limb thing" to 75%

ive just done a local poll, amongst toymods posters. i wasnt talking about race cars, im talking about in general, people would prefer an sw20. and that an sw20 isnt necessarily a "show pony" choice over an aw11.

thanks for the input guys.....
i wouldn't mind the aw11, but the thing is, i want something that is half new, ie.less than 10years old, and still has a fair bit of life in it.

thats the reason why half the sw20 owners buy sw20's!! cos they are newer.
