Well a few friends and i decided to go out this weekend for a friends bday.... we ended up grabbing a 5star hotel apartment, clubbing VIP style, spending every cent we had on drinks etc..... Sunday night we were kicking back in our room when we ran out of drinks so i decided to go for a drive and get some. Being to pissed i let a mate drive my little crappy excel, We were cruising on Parramatta road Ashfield when all of a sudden the car wouldnt get into gears..... Hmmmmm.... we sat there and tried to figure out where ths clutch fluid had gone and everytime we refilled it itd just empty itself. We realised a line was broken in half thus meaning we had to tow the car home... $240 later the car is sitting in front of the driveway and now i just realised its going to cost me an extra $350 to repair the car. life stinks sometimes

$350 to fix a hydraulic line? geez, it is gold plated?
surely a trip to the wreckers and a $20 note would get you 2 lines (a spare for JIC) - or ieven if it's the slave or master cyl (might cost a bit more)

Cheering? You just spent $200 on an excel!!
When I had a shitty daily driver as well as the supra, I'd bitch about every cent I had to spend on it - I wouldn't pay $5 for a heater hose, insted I fixed the burst one with a piece of steel pipe from an old wheelchair frame! Nothing suited it more! Retreads, old oil, water instead of coolant, second hand brake master cylinder...and the shitty old parts never failed!
But when I "had" to spend $4.5K on a jza70 frontcut for the supra, I didn't blink an eye!!

why dont you use the money from selling the excel and just finish the skyline instead of buying another car! you dont even have a license so you shouldnt be driving

because all the money from my previous excel and any profit i make on any car goes to my bank savings and is locked so i can one day buy my own place
The excel is a decent "shit box"
