I have upgraded mine. Mostly to like a 1600 TE37. Plus some mild suspension work. They can be fun cars! But standard they are shit. Look here:

The 2tg conversion can be simple with the right bits ie. engine crossmember etc. The 2tg with 3t crank hybrid has good amount of power for the KE35. The axle tramp can be controlled with a lower arm to a 100mm pillar of the axle housing stopping the wind up of the front section of the leaf springs. I hooked these off the front spring mount forming a triangle. I have conversion bits currently for sale.

Have you got pictures or a better description of you anti-tramp setup? I am very interested. I have a panhard rod myself, and plan on adding 2 upper links.

Maybe post them up here, or email them to me with some details of how and why this was done. I will add them to my tech article that I will be writing shortly which will comprise of everything I can get my hands on.. cwhelan@tycoint.com
Thank you for your help on this

Any way you could go into an indepth explanation on how this setup was made and fitted and what the major advantages are, I can include this in the tech article... Maybe you could scan a sketch for us all to see with detail, that would be fantastic.
Thank you.
