if you really want ur car to shoot flames while driving do the following in this process:
1. put clutch in
2. turn car off
3. press the far right pedal 2 or more times (depending on how big you want the flame to be)
4. turn car back on
5. look in revision mirrior and watch big flames come out of the exhaust
often called the 'backfire' works with dads' suzuki
best done at night

you obviously havent drive a carbie car, thats the normal thing to do (not the backfire) but to give it a few pumps before you start it

tune it rich and wire in a spark plug at the very tip of your exhaust pipe , running off the coil ..
Guaranteed flames
( and possible melted bodyparts , or explosion of car )

there was a discussion on the correct terminology of a backfire a while ago... but for the sake of simplicity, yes I've had foot long flames shoot out the back of my exhaust, when hitting max boost in 2nd and 3rd (before my re-tune - now I dont get any flames)

i came hammering into this corner going way to fast and had to heel toe down to 4th, then 3rd, then 2nd. 2nd was a mistake, way way way past 6k redline and my mate behind said flames shot out. (this is maybe 5 hours into owning my sprinter!)

My mate has a pimpin dodge 2 door - full sick interior and exterior, puttin a 427 hemi in and converting it to run av-gas, then hes gonna get one of those electronic flame throwers stuck on the back - basically like the ones all of the 'fast and furious' cars have in the movies - Il get some pics/vids when its burning some POS car behind him!!!

i was talking bout this to one of my mates and we came to the conclusion that if you stuck an extra spark plug down there and just hit the button to make it spark it should work. but it is illegal to do it so do it when no-one is watching

There's a guy with some sort of hot rod (can't remember what it was called) in the bayside in bris..
Had the spark plug wired up in the end of the exhaust, ran it rich and it made good flames..
Then he wired up some sort of pump with fuel spraying out the end, and made like 20-30 foot flames!!! I only saw it once, and for all I know it is toast now!

My celica does it,
heres how:
Drive flat out to a corner, and downchange through third too second and use compression braking for the corner, listen for the exhaust to crackle then plant the right foot to the floor
Works every time.
I love compression braking into corners

Hey Garth, you've seen Martins car shoot flames? Left exhaust, right exhaust, left exhaust! Looks awesome! And Dinkys passed me on his Ninja one night, changed gears right in front me. Huge pop, flame about a foot out the exhaust.
