T-Series LSD Wed, 17 March 2004 02:37 Go to next message
i have put this part up for sale before but i was not will to sell it at the prices people were advertising for. I am looking for about 800 ono has some play in it but not sure how much.

it s a 4.33:1 which is rare as in australia. this ratio with a 4AC will beat just about any car off the line, 4age's included...

so you guys get the picture. either way i will pull it out myself it will only fit into another t-series diff housing, so if you have a stock oz spec sprinter you will not be able to install it without buying another diff housing.

thank you, this product will also go on e-bay...

just so you know im not just here to upset the applecart i am genuinely looking for a 4.3 T series centre but....

uhmm id suggest you sell the axles with that diff.. it will be hard to find an australian T series axle to match it otherwise. From memory the .33 etc ratios were in the corona 4AG's and some early model rwd corollas. If i recall correctly Matti Kallatis site has a very good run down of ratio aspects for the T series and thier axles

not to put you off your wanted price but you can get Kaaz and TRD LSD's to suit the T series NEW for the price you are asking for a your secondhand unit ...

best wishes with the sale Smile

Stupid Question Razz , but would like to clarify; Being a T-series diff centre, i'm assuming it'll bolt straight into my TA22, RIGHT???

I think this is the large-axle T-series diff, if so no it won't fit in your TA22 diff. You want the earlier one with the smaller axles.

Hmm, interesting. How would itell if my diff isn't alreadya large axle version of the T series? Or did these large axle diffs come out in later models only?

I know for a fact that he ta22 did have the option from factory for a LSD diff with disc brakes.

I think you'll find they were optional with LSD but not disc brakes. The TA22 uses the smaller style 24mm axle, so no, this centre wont fit into your TA22 T series diff without axle mate up problems. This centre will use the larger 25mm axles.

That rare, you'd never find one! They were option's on the GTS and the GT models and we never saw those models in australia. Peaking as we get nothing over here Mad !!!!

I'll guarantee you they were optioned with Disc brakes too. I read a book about the celica evolution and it shows everything about each model and options and designs and everything.

I still think your book is wrong about the discs ( a friend with the JDM info has confirmed they never came with discs for me earlier), but this is not the place for that discussion. Back to topic, someone is still trying to sell a "Kouki" T series LSD centre?!!!
