Apprenticeships? Wed, 17 March 2004 10:07 Go to next message
Does anyone know of any mechanics or auto-motive electrician that would be hiring apprentice's in the sydney area? Or does anyone know about TAFE courses in particular motor mechanics?
Cheers any help will be much appreciated.

7 Months ago I scored a apprenticeship at BMW sydney , one of the biggest , best equiped workshops I have ever seen.

They hire 3 apprentices each year ( first year ) but the entrance exams are very very strict , but so worth it. I get all tafe paid for , all expences paid for trips to the BMW training centre in melbourne 2-3 times a year plus all sorts of incentives and stuff.

Yeah i'm really keen on one. I just want to finish shitty school then get one. I was gonna drop out of school and do one now but i decided not to. I'll just bludge at school. And do my conversion later when i have the money. SR20 into a MK2 Escort.
Also does anyone know the requirements to get a traineeship or apprenticeships with like Toyota, Subaru, Ford, etc, etc.? I'll hopefully be doing some work experience in the holidays with Toyota to see what its like.
