Just take your radiator to a radiator shop and get them to move the inlet pipe. It's pretty cheap to get this done and much easier than screwing around with different radiators.

what grant means to say is that his radiator is stuffed and needs a new one, but most other ta22 or equivalent radiators have inlet and outlet pipes on the wrong sides or something....
something like that

The same applies... either get a new TA22 radiator or get the existing one re-cored, then get the top tank modified so the pipe is on the opposite side. Your chances of finding a genuine GT1600 radiator are very slim.

Yeah, thats the easiest thing to do. Recore and get the pipes moved. No need to mess around with remounting. You can also recore to triple if you need ultra cooling. Just pick a place that does neat welding. I've had a couple done, and although it works, it could have been neater.

I don't know what you mean about TA22 radiators being on the wrong side: All Ta22 had the 2T/2TG which had a passenger side water inlet, and also the passenger side top hose from radiator.
If your seeing one with the drivers side outlet then I suggest it was an Ra model (hence the 18'R' motor which is on the other side) or someone has just put another radiator in it. I just you get yours re-corred if you want. And the top hose outlet should be on the passenger side, if it aint... you ain't got the original radiator.
