MR2 sw20 seats are very nice.
One suggestion, be carefull with which ones you go with cause I made a costly mistake and bought OBX for my Sprinter and found they sat too high for me. Sold them but still lost about $400.
So now I'm looking at MR2 sw20 seats. I know you have the TA22 and mines an AE86, but I dont see why they wouldnt fit your car as well.
Anyway, there are other options as well, but I like to use Toyota parts.
Good luck.

If you can get your hands on MA61 seats, these are very nice and quite a few people have put them in old Celicas. I have a spare pair I'm planning to put in my RA23 if I ever get around to it! Apparently it's pretty easy to do, just a bit of drilling here and there.

I got st182 celica or wat ever the series toyota seat is in my car, nice and comfortable and very supportive, not easy to get to fit plus you will need to make new set belts, but its somethign unique and worth the effort, plus the only sit about and inch or so higher than the originals. I am about 6'2 and i just fit in my ra23 so use that as a guide.

not toyota but the good old honda prelude seat swaps easy to do as well - and are very comfy .. it raises your seat position a bit though , which i see is the only downside
ive heard of others fitting MX5 seats - which are also nice , and silvia seats ..
Mx5 ones seem to sit more lower than the prelude ones which are a plus
Ive also seen GT4 seats from an st185 in a ta22 as well

early 90's Silvia are nice.. they are comfy and quite thin, so even fit in a KE1x they don't have a large bottom cushin bit, so mount lower, but also don't have bolt on rails so they are a bit more of a bitch to fit..

From what seats I have looked at lately the late model Mazda 323 seats I think they were just about bolt right in. MX5 seats are nice and small but no way near a direct fit. I'm yet to find some prelude seats to measure and test fit
