Thanks guys!!
Not entirely sure what to put in, looking at a maybe 3t-gteu or a 4agze (but maybe too much fiddling??) , depends on the usual....money! The brakes and suspension has gotta be done too, I also got a set of lowering blocks, trying to decide whether to use em or not?! Any sugestions would be appreciated!!

Just out of interest, why did you decide to get an old corolla and how did you find out about toymods?

some friends were turning four old corollas into 2. the one I got they were gonna keep for their new business venture, but it fell through, and I liked the look of it, so she's now mine!I wanted something older, I dont like the look of the newer cars.....no offence to anyone!
Toymods i found through a search on toyotas, I was after info on converting it to a 4agze, or something a bit better than the 4k-c. She's a little slow on the uptake, I was looking for something quicker!

well, if you're in lismore there are a few ppl up your way that dabble with old corollas.. SuperJamie is... hmm, near there is sprucing up the 4K in his KE25.. not quite to my specs, but should go nicely.
there's aslo Fook, whos in lower QLD who's putting a 4AG into KE35 right now...
have a look at http://drive.to/oldcorollas
and also look at
http://autos.groups.yahoo.com/group/oldcorollas/
my 4K made 47.3rwkw at toymods dynoday5, compared to 86kw 4AG's making 55kw..
we'll see when either the 4KE or 7KE injection goes on
