I'm considering buying a new celica with a 3tgte in it off a mate. Problem is i haven't had much contact with that engine before. What car are they from originally? I need to know to consider how hard the parts are to find if something goes wrong. Anyone that could help would be greatly appreciated! Cheers Lee
You can find 3T-GTE's in TT142 Corona's and TA63 Celica's, to name but a few. Obviously second hand jap import vehicles. Parts support is still *reasonable* for this engine even though it finished production in the mid-80's.
