me! on a suck-thru carbi+turbo

a DIY affair, simple really:
attache line to a port on the intake manifold
put a 1-way valve in line to t-piece or alloy block.
pressure switch on base of t-piece
pressure switch can be adjustable or pre-set (mine is set to approx 5psi)
bleed valve on other side of t-piece (1/32" hole actually)
pressure switch earths circuit
from IGN, 12+ goes to a wiper/washer pump mounted at base of a tank (in engine bay) then on to switch. You can also add an indicator wired same way as pump.
pump needs inline filter after pump to prevent bleed/nozzle getting blocked
after filter, t-piece with 1/32" hole in base is attached to top of the tank
(small hole feeds into tank and prevents syphoning)
other side of t-piece goes to nozzle mounted in front of carbi
nozzle sprays thru carbi into turbo (helps atomise it before getting to turbo/manifold
keep line from bleed->nozzle as short as possible

but... if you want to spray directly into the intake manifold of a turbo then you probably need something like this <www.aquamist.co.uk>

It's used to suppress detonation. It basically does the same thing as an intercooler, but if set up right it can be more effective.

that's why i have it - otherwise, the 18R detonates fiercely over about 5psi - partly as i have no boost retard, and partly as i need a high static-advice to get it to start/run.

combined with intercooling would allow you to run higher boost/compression and/or more aggresive timing.

it might be useful in conjunction with a knock control - but latency issues (time from getting event trigger to delivery of fluid to plenum) would have to be dealt with.

however, if you dont run an intercooler, it might improve engine longevity.
