Hey guys,
Im having problems with start up on my mr2. It used to start up instantly first got no problems. Just lately last week or two it has slowly gotten worse so now i have to turn it over with 3 tries and on the 3rd try it just gets some life and jumps around on really low revs untill it finally gets to 1000rpm. I believe it to be something like the cold start sensor? because it should start up and rev at around 1100-1500 depending on the temperature of the motor right? and its not doing this at all. Could it be something else, and what do i do to fix this. Cheers Confused

i know that problem Sad
its really annoying
i dont know how to fix it Sad

i find though, it takes forever after starting the car, for the revs to drop down to a normal idle.
i mean up to 30mins after first starting the car
warms up to operating temp in 5-10mins
