Just woindering what off a 2s-e will fit a 3s-ge as i have a block and head and cams. What parts and gaskits from the 2s will fit it. and what is the potential of a 3s-ge without putting a turbo on
Probably only some parts of the block would be suitable... if that.
With full Gen1 3SGEs (needing rebuild) going for around $300 on here, whats the point of mixing 2S stuff?
I reckon an early Gen1/2 3SGE has gotta be good for around 120Kw with mild mods like exhaust, intake and a ECU tuned for high octane fuel (or aftermarket ECU).
i think they have a lot of potentianl...mine is dead atm but 2 weeks ago it was pretty sweet..and thats on an old motor with 270km's...i have to replace the head so i think i might gte a full rebild done..any one know what the rebuild whould cost? cos the motor has lost some compression
