Yeah genuine jap number plates would look mad on some old skool cars.
I could also be interested depending on price?!
I think you could be onto a little money making scheme here!! good stuff!

incase people didn't realise, i "think" it is also legal to have them attached on the back of your car (plus normal plates obviously) cos a neighbour with an f150 used to have some texas plates on the back and they were supposedly legal, but check in your own state before doing it

I can speak for WA and say that u can't have novelty plates/fake plates attached to the outside of your vehicle. A friend of mine has been in trouble for that before, but only got a warning... then again could also be a cop that just wanted to hassle him!
I was thinking these plates would be more handy for show purposes or display around the garage n stuff!
Still interested if there's any development in price or supply... let me know!
Cheers

yes, common sense would tell you that a foreign plate of any existence outside your vehicle would be an offence, no matter how it is placed.
These Jap plates would look great for a photoshoot, or even used on the track for that extra Japanese touch
keep us all updated!

Any idea on Cost?
Having a Jap import means my car was meant to have these on, so it'd look a lot better for showing off instead of having useless bracket hanging in the air.

Add me for a pair. Depends on price too.
I've seen people with UK plates under their normal plates (as well as Japanese plates on the inside of the rear windows of a Hiace Custom. Unless you could put the plates side by side and have dual no. plates as they do in some countries.
