does anyone know if a 1jz sump will fit on a 2jz as iam thinkin of putting a aristo 2jz (frnt sump) into my 1j supra mainly due to the extra capacity and vti enhanced pwrband

Ummmm .... I don't suppose you've thought about trading your JZA70 in for an MA61 - which would make a rather nice donor car for such a brilliant engine? Shocked

Yep.

Swaps straight over and will all bolt up sweeeet, using the pickup from the 1J.

Make the 1JZ a front sump and sell it to an MA61 owner!

Or even see what you can get for the front sump alone? There a a few MA61 & Cressi owners that might be interested (Chasers can fetch up to $1K more than Soarer half-cuts - and many of us only got them for that damn front sump).

Also, front sumps for JZs are pretty rare in the US. If you can be bothered with the whole postage issue, you might make a tidy profit!
