Hilux G-Series diff Mon, 22 March 2004 08:59 Go to next message
I have a G-Series diff for sale.

Its out of a 1996 Hilux

LSD

4.3 ratio (rebuilt, not used)

1395mm (from my measurements)

8" crown wheel and 31 spline axles

Entire housing drum to drum is for sale and I have also cut the mounts off it so its bare.

Up we go!!! Confused

I will also mention that this diff is perfect for a high horse sprinter as they have 1400mm diffs from factory. Early celica too.

The same G series that fit into early model Supra's and Soarer's? What kind of LSD is it? Do all 96 model Hiluxs have g series?

hilux's are either G or F, F was mostly only used on the front axle of the 4wd modelst though.

1400mm drum to drum is the INCORRECT width for an early model celica i might add though (pre 1978), these need the early model hilux axle which is shorter from the RN2* series.

Thats cool, I was going on the fact that I had a sprinter diff in my old ta22, so I thought they were the same size. or there abouts........

Ok last chance for interested parties........as a sweetener, I will restud the axles and drums to the desired PCD, for the right buyer! If nobody has serious offers I will hang onto it for a while...............

Sorry mate but you are a few weeks late.
I sold it for $850. It was out of a 1996 hilux surf and it was 1400mm mounting face to mounting face if it helps at all.
