am ready to do an oil change
how much oil does the 1ggte take, am going to put in Penrite HPR-40, any other's ?!

I would only use mobil synthitic oil (mobil 1) penrite is not the best for turbo engines, You should only need 4lt to fill it but then agian the engine does have a dip stick and the bit at the end with an "F" means full Very Happy

P.S use an oil filter from a 7mgte as there bigger than the camry one

MATE JUST BE CAREFULL NOT TO OVER FILL THE ENGINE OIL

i just done the damn thing and put in 3 times the required amount of oil and the car went bonkrs and smoked like a bushfire had started in the boot

they look very trick on the dip stck and ud imagine for a 6 cylinder engine they will take at least 4-5 liters of oil mabe

but i learnt the hard way and it stuffed my spark plugs and ran like shit

so becarefull and chek the dip stick after pouring a little by little of the oil

as forpenrite ive been told they are a good brand of oil to use but i dnno what type in their range to use for the 1g-gte

but mobil 1 superseeds all other oils and is the ultimate one
but if u dun want to spend that much money go the penrite or castrol
