Just seeing if anyone has actually done this conversion because I have a mate that will be starting his very soon, he picks his half cut up soon just wondering what sort of problems he is likely to encounter...

I had one I sold a month ago for $12,500.

I have another I am building up now. Engine is already in, still to do wiring and intercooler.

I too own such a lovely car, I'd say the 5k for the conversion would be pretty close. Don't forget some nice coilovers though!

That conversion is teh bodge.

Checkout the snaking of the harness and super long garden hose heater line. I dont know why they just didnt take the heater connections off the rear of the engine?

Yes, it does look pretty bodge, although the outside looks good! They painted over the grey stripe on the fron bar though...

I just cant work out why you would paint the car, engine and piping and then leave the engine bay looking like a POS?

its very boro style, personally i like it, but in answer to your question, that car is probably worth about 2K over there, its like us spending 3K on a Vk Commodore to paint the engine bay after we had sprayed the exterior a different color Laughing
