18rgeu turbo boost retard?

Hi guys, I know there are a few people out there in toymods land who know more about turbo engines than I do so I thought I would ask you.
What have people done about ignition boost retard in 18rgeu turbo conversions?
Any input would be helpful, as I am in the dreaming phase right now, an need to know how much work the ignition system for a trubo conversion will be.
If anyone has done it in a way that doesn't involve a computer that controls spark, I would love to know about that.

MTEU dizzy has boost retard (15 degrees) and I'm led to believe one of the Laser TX3 turbo motors does too.

He can use his own dizzy, have the advance weights altered to suit and use the boost retard unit from either one.

Thanks for the input guys.
Are these boost retard units mechanical or are they computer controlled?

So basically, the boost retard unit goes where the vacuum advance unit used to go?
If this is all it is, then I don't know why I started worrying about this conversion.
Also, do you guys know if there are any "affordable" forged pistons that can be thrown in. (boring is expected.
