Best way to flush a A to A intercooler

Hi guys - Im going to attempt to give the intercooler a flush during this week - looking for advice on the best ways to remove the oil and crud that gets on there ( via that breather hose on rocker cover, fed back thru the turbo ) ..
Ive heard petrol is a good way of giving it a cleanout - then rinse with water ?
is this right - or not
Suggestions ?

petrol, water and then a final rinse with petrol again then let it dry.
Use premium unleaded for best results

Or for $30 dollars take it to the local radiator and get them to flush it and get a pressure test at the same time.

So. Just pass on the $30 cost to the buyer when you sell it.

I use petrol, pour some in then block off the end tanks. Slosh it around then pour it back out. I use compressed air to speed up the drying time. 10 minute job
