 What Car Did 3T GTE Come In

hey guys just wondering what car the 3t gte came in. i am thinking about putting one in a TA22 and just curious. also does anyone know what kind of times a 3tgte in a TA22 would produce.

as far as i know they came in the GT4 celica's and the MR2's..thats all i know of..i have no clue what time it would get

Not sure exactly what car they came out of, but as far as times go, you would probably expect 15 seconds or higher or the quarter. With a few mods the 3TGTE can go a lot faster, like upgrading turbo (standard turbo is rather crap) intercooler and more boost may see you doing a mid 13 to low 14, which would beat most cars on the road. Don't quote me these are just estimates.

No they didn't I think you are thinking of the 3SGTE not the 3TGTE

Here's a pic of a TA-63 (I think??) Celica with a 3TGTE in it, all factory. I helped Phil Bradshaw rebuild it in 1998 in Auckland.

but close enough.
then you can expect to run 7 sec 0-100km/h, and 15 secs to cover 400m.
