hi all as u can see im not a regular poster on here so sorry if i sound like a newbie
as u can tell i have a ra60 and i was just wondering is there anything that i could do to "FIX" the headlights i guess u could say I hate the look of them and im pretty sure that i saw something awhile ago ongetting some sort of conversion?? but it would cost a fair bit....
ive even toyed with the idea of getting black duct tape and making them look meaner hahahaah im that desperate
oh and also, im looking for the mould for the ac button and cigarette lights were the radio is installed, would i have to ring up a few local wreckers and start from there???
thanx for evryones help!!

hey tony everybody is looking for one of those stereo surrounds!!...they crack easily esp. when people change a stereo and think they have all the screws out of it and just pull it ...the rest is history
anyway best bet is wreckers, any of the ra60, ra65, sa63 celicas are all the same interior wise
i saw an ra60 once and the owner had adjusted the lights so they wouldnt slant forwards anymore they were permantly at a 90 degree angle to the ground...looked awesome, best thing you could do other than change to a ra65 front end which may look a bit strange as a ra60 bonnet has a bit of a lip the extends over the front grill and the ra65 grill is flush to the top of the headlights, so you would have to use your ra60 grill and use the ra65 lights and indicators but it is still better than the stock lights
hope this helps wayne

best bet would be to find a private wreck...i paid $150 for one headlight and $100 for a indicator as well as $150 for a new looking bumper bar (you probably wouldnt need that) from a wrecker...and then i found a complete wreck later on which cost me $300 for the whole thing from a private seller
the ra60 headlights have one more wire going to the headlight motor plug than the ra65's do...which controls the headlight motor so you may have to get a wiring diagram unless you know what your doing !
i think i have one here ill have a look later !
see ya wayne
