ive got a heater tap if u want it. just to confirm, is it that thing in the engine bay that controls the entry of coolant into the heater core?
have u got like the part number on it. ive got one spare in the garage

good luck... they are very difficult to find in working condition. toyota no longer stock new ones, and many by this age are too corroded, and leak badly...

if your really desperate volvo uses a similar valve in the 244 and other 2XX models that has a thermostat so the heater doesnt get too hot its just a bit of mucking around to fit it

original ones are still available but at around 140 each they are not cheap
