From memory it was an internally stock 7AFE with a turbo kit bolted on by Toyota Aus. I don't think they made any changes to the compression ratio or anything else.

Didn't they have slightly tweaked suspension as well?

But yeah the engine was a 7a-fte 115kw @ 5600rpm 237Nm @ 3600rpm

Engine description Four cylinder, in-line, belt-driven and gear coupled DOHC, four valves per cylinder, cast-iron block, cross-flow alloy head.
Capacity (cm3) 1762

Fuel system type T/PFI

Maximum power 115kW @ 5600rpm

Maximum torque 237Nm @ 3600rpm

Cylinders 4cyl

Valve train DOHC

Valves per cylinder 4v

Block material Cast iron

Head material Aluminium alloy

Compression ratio 9.5:1

Fuel type 91 RON ULP

Fuel tank capacity (litres) 50

Interesting not sure if these are correct though.

from memory, that car was a total flop, it was too expensive and it didn't have the bang for your buck quality to it....

Pretty much - I think Toyota Aus dropped the price on them by about $10K when they didn't sell.. They were originally released around the WRX/200SX price range.

Still a relatively nice car though. The torque makes them VERY good to drive.

they are a very driveable car. im pretty sure the pistons arent stock, as when i rebuilt one last year we had to order two pistons in from japan cause aus didnt have any, and japan only had 2 in total if we wanted 4 we would have to wait for them to be manufactured, this is genuine toyota however. so i dont think they are stock 7afe pistons otherwise im sure they would have had some in stock.
