is that the alternator?

My voltage is moving up and down between 13-11 when the blinkers are on. if i turn the wipers and fan speed full. the voltage gauge drop to 8-9v.
it a 1jz/ma70. it happen after the swap, but i put up with it until now, it's pissing me off

Since you have done a swap I would be looking for any missing Earths first.
Try a couple of more earths, see if it helps.
If the Battery is getting Charge then the Alt is ok. Might be the reg but unlikly, I'd be looking at the earths first

just fix up all the grounding cables. u just add one fat one from batt neg to chassis, and one from block to chassis
try measuring volt again from alt, if its too low or high then alt no good, possibly batt aswell. fix alt first and c what happens.
if alt output is fine then go measure from batt, if too low or high then change batt should fix it

Even better, start the engine, turn on everything electrical on the car, and measure the voltage between the - terminal and the alternator case, the lower the better
|

i dont know anything about earthings.
i already have one from the batt the the chassis. where to where should i add more earths. i checked the volt is ok
only drops alot when the reverse light is on and the indicators but not when i use the hazard.

you Do have an earth between motor and chassis? (or two??)
i even run an earth cable from alternator case to battery (a loose alt mount can stop it charging)

lol it happened to mine too
because i didnt put one of the terminals back on properly! thought the alt was stuffed, but i gained courage just to tighten it up and start up..and it worked fine again!
