Subaru Australia -"Symmetry" magazines ..

Anyone got any of these??..Subaru Australia started issuing them supposedly to all new Subaru owners in early 1999...2 or 3 issues a year..they started out numbering them then went to seasonal issue..Summer, Winter, Spring etc..supposed to have been sending out 90,000 each issue but I doubt it .I have been collecting them from the start and have most up to 2003..as well as a few double ups.. thanks to ebay... and the publishers who recently cleaned out there very meagre old stock... all 7 of them... and sent them to me!!If you/friends/family/enemies have any/see any would appreciate a contact..modest financial arrangements may be able to be made..These are not highly prized...most just read them and chuck them out ..but I collect.

We recieve them due to the folks buying a forrester but yeah, ours usually get a quick read then thrown out.

The mag. is distributed direct by POL who were able to send me some old issues but I did not want to push them too much..Your families handling of the mag. is the same as most I think...few ex Subbi owners at work read and binned them as well...great photos and a classy set up...POL won a couple of big publishing prizes for their involvement and well deserved too...I have written to Subaru in Sydney to see if I can get back on the mailing list...my car is a '99 model so they may want to try and sell me another...but not just yet..

Seems to support what I think that the distribution is a bit suspect...nothing earth shattering about the mag. just something nice to have I think..

I found some really old brochures on subarus, including the 1st gen Liberty and Impreza and some on the old Leone
