Need advice on replacement clutch

Successfully destroyed my clutch at the drags the other night, poor thing had only done about 500km. So I need to replace it with something alot stronger. Ive got 2600lb clamping force at the moment, my plate is 8.5" 21 spline x 29mm organic Toyota. I dont want to change my pressure plate or go button cause 4wding and boat launching will be impossible, will an inorganic plate material do the trick?

Yeah, change the plate material, plus try and find a lot more clamp than that if possible... Otherwise, multi plate may even be needed! Have a chat to Direct Clutch in Brissy.

You'll find a 5+ puck button clutch won't be too harsh. I have one and it's perfectly drivable in stop-start traffic, so with appropriate gearing it shouldn't be a problem doing what you want to do as well. This is probably the only effective solution to your problem without spending uber dollars (ie twin-plate as mentioned above).

I suppose the other solution is to make a bigger diameter flywheel i.e. more recessed ring gear and new pressure plate and clutch plate
