3TGTEU Overfueling Problem

I am not mechanically minded and do not fully understand the problem but will give it my best shot to explain what is happening with my car... feel free to ask any questions to clarify or go into specifics about certain things!
I am having a 3TGTEU installed into my TA22 using both factory computers, at the moment the car will only start after some encouragement from the throttle.. once running it will not idle due to overfueling and runs very very roughly coughing and spluttering. I'm pretty sure that the VSVs have been checked and a different set of injectors tried, has anybody had any experience with my vague problem? Please help me!
Jake.

One thing to check is that the coolant temp sensor is connected properly, as having an open circuit here will cause the ECU to think that the coolant temp is really low, and will compensate with significantly more fuel.
I wouldnt expect that it would run really rough with just that though, have you checked the fuel pressure? Having a blocked return line can cause 100psi + fuel pressure, which will make it overfuel heaps.
Cheers
Phil

Um they have a fuel pressure guage connected and it is sitting on 38psi or whatever the correct pressure is, so im not sure if that is it? As for the coolant temp i don't know about that but as you say it shouldn't run really bad/not idle at all....

Have you/they checked fault codes, surely the 02 sensor would pick up a rich fuel mixture and compensate to the best of its ability.
Perhaps the 02 sensor is stuffed

They where considering the O2 sensor but doesn't it not actually operate until the sensor/engine has warmed? With the O2 sensor disconnected there is still no change.
