A Question on Alarms

Bit of a stupid question, but has any one had trouble getting their alarm working again after disconnecting the battery? I ot my car back from the paint shop a few days ago and he said that it was going off (and for some unknown reason he couldn't disarm it) and while it was going it he disconnected the battery. I tried disconnecting and reconnecting and still nothing, doesn't react at all to any buttons or whatever. I did get it to make a noise for a split second when reconnecting it once, but haven'tbeen able to replicate it again. Any idea's? i wouldn't think it would get rooted just from that, but thats why i'm asking. Thanks

It might have a fuse on the power going to the alarm, have a look for an inline fuse?
Cheers

Yep re-learning the remotes would be the go...
Some remotes and or alarms will divource each other if they have no power... to re-unite them you will usually have to go through turning the ignition on and off and possibly find / connect the reset button to the alarm module. Either way your going to have to find your manual.

anyone know how a MA61 stocko alarm works?
apart from turning the sucker on and off(beep or beep beep\beep dup) i dont know how it really works
there is a second button on the remote, that just makes it arm and disarm silently from what i can tell...
sorry this is a bit off topic
