i have a 2tg solex powerd just wonderd what degrees i time it to with the timming light and at what idle speed.

~750RPM and ~12 degrees. Someone will chime in with factory specs soon.

That's not too bad and the timing difference required between ~750 and ~1000 will be negligable.

Idle speed can be controlled by idle jet mixtures, and throttle butterfly stops.

workshop manual says 12 degrees BTDC @ 1000rpm +-50rpm
