What should I be looking for for a tough LSD for the cressida, and can anyone help me out on pricing...heaps appreciated guys! Smile

I know this, I have a grande, however, methinks that beeing 10 years old and 300,000 km's+ that it's on it's way out. Especially when the 1j goes in!!! Wink

Your LSD is a clutch type, which occasionally needs to be shimmed as the clutches wear. Take it to any diff shop, they'll either shim it or replace the clutches if they're too far worn (quite possible with so many km's on the clock).

As for upgrades, there's really nothing available apart from expensive aftermarket stuff - for example, a Quaife LSD is a very nice bit of gear, but will set you back approx $3k. You'd want to have a pretty good reason to upgrade to one of them!

Or a TRD 4 pinion jobbie...very nice but around 13-1500.
