9. MA61 F&R Paedders "Comfort Gas" shocks (removed to upgrade to Koni Yellows - apparently only 12 months old) - $50 set

What are these like? Are they any good? I'm looking for some shocks for my GA61 to tide me over until I can afford some real suspension Smile

They rode OK in the car with std springs.

They'll definitely do as an interim until you can afford decent ones like I did.

Let me know if you want them and they are yours.

Just note the postage costs depending where you are

Here is the info that I dug up from an old post.

Clutch plate : 9.25" OD x 5.875" ID
Press. Plate : 9.375" OD x 5.75" ID
Flywheel : 9.5" OD x 5.3125" ID & 8 - 8.5kg (friction face data)

It appears that the flywheel that I have is the 240mm type and it was from a 7M-GE MA70 (ex lumpy from these forums).

Also have the following clutch plate as well

New Exedy clutch plate with 10" OD and 6.625" ID (full face organic - don't know if it will fit anything or not ?)

Price, postage/freight will be a killer, but actual value will be $25 ?

Cheers

bbaacchhyy, I was poking around my brakes the other day, and discovered that one of the bolts on the front right (i think) caliper had snapped off Surprised it's stuck in there for good now.

I believe my car has the same calipers as the MA61 though.

I'm gonna contact toyota about a replacement bolt for that caliper, and see if I can get a rebuild kit for both fronts too... dunno if I can remove the bolt though!

How much for one or two calipers?

Michael B - I'll actually be interested in the Sigma Boss kit for my brothers car. What year is a GK tho? He has a 1980 Siggy - will it fit that? I'll give ya $40 if you pay for the postage to Perth! Very Happy

Further.. the Bell housing? Would this be a certain part I would need if I were to be conecting up a 5spd to my 7M in the Mk2???! (others are welcome to shed some light on this one too) If so I could be interested in the bell housing too.

Let me know mate

Cheers

Its a

bbaacchhyy says...

Mseries to W5x bellhousing

So if you have a 7M and the 5spd gearbox in question is the stock MK2 gearbox(W58 ) (or for some reason the gearbox is a W55, W57, W59, which externally are all close to identical) it should fit Cool

Cheers

Wilbo666 : Have replied to the PM. Yes I have a clutch plate & std PP as well

People100 : Have PM'd you back re Tensioner

Hydra : Probably the same brake, not sure. $25 per caliper - prefer to sell as a pair

WA TRD 83 : GK was about 1986, but I don't know if there were any changes for the earlier ones. The boss kit is No. 6101, and is the boss only - no horn button. As a goodwill gesture, to aid wit uncertainty, I'll take $35 incl postage.

The bellhousing will fit btween the 7M and and a W55/57/58/59 - just as I have done on mine. Postage would probably be about $25 or so, don't know the weight yet.

BlackSupra : No worries, offer accepted. The postage to get the reco one I bought from Newcastle was $18.50, so we can assume the same to Sydney ? Round it to $65, and you have a deal.

People100, WA TRD 83, & BlackSupra, if you are happy with that, PM me and I'll send you the bank details and I'll get them all away

Cheers
