did u put the oil drain plug back in????

don't laugh i've seen it happen a few times Freak

double check the guage is connected properly as it may have been bumped or damaged while you were fiddling under the bonnet but the oil thickness shouldn't have any real effect on the oil preassure.

The oil pressure sensor is the little round shinyish thingo screwed into the block a short way in front of the oil filter, with 1 wire going to it. It might be hidden behind an A/C pump or alternator though, depending which parts you've got on your 4AG.

i dont have A/C pump, alternator is under the tvis. i saw a round bolt close to oil filter, guess this is where you plug in a oil pressure tester. dont know where this wire connects though

hmm. yes there is a bolt kinda thingo next to the oil filter to its left - then further toward the front of the engine is a sender looks like a little can - should have a terminal on it - a wire should go on there.

yeah, that little bolt is nothing to do with it - look for the can further in front. If your oil pressure gauge did work, then you'll have the can with a wire on it
