3sfe throttle body Wed, 31 March 2004 03:05 Go to next message
I was wondering if someone can help me with some queries about the Camry 2 litre 3sfe throttle body:

does the auxilliary air valve (IAC) have a heat activated valve, or is the electric rotary valve used to do this function i.e is the coolant connection only for winter ice or to heat a bimetallic element ;

is there a TPS that can replace the switch module, so I can get a variable signal of throttle position;

the output from the auxiliary air valve goes to a pilot operated regulator on the opposite end of the plenum:- does the regulator restrict the air on vacuum to the pilot port or admit more air?

I would apprceiate any help here

Ok you can ignore the query about the auxilliary air valve, I have worked that out.

I just need to find out about the regulator and TPS
