thats a good price for a good BOV. i paid $160 for mine 2nd hand november last year.
i think they still retail around $280

is that the plumb back one and does it have the adaptor for fitting ?
looking at one for my W to A intercooler setup - so it should be like what you had planned sepan - if so illmake an offer to beat that

With the GT4's there's really no adaptor unless you get something for btn the turbo and cooler... and then you will have clearance issues most of the time.
People usually take their cooler to a muffler place and get something made up on the right side near the airbox so you can bolt it there. That's what I have on my Celica and I have been using this BOV on it for a little while. Costs about $20-30 to get it done.

do you know the rated boost it can withstand without leakage? is it loud or quiet?

Not sure but i'm guessing something high like 30 psi...
It's not really that quiet but its not super loud either. It sounds pretty good.

not sure about 30psi. but they should handle up to 20psi.
apparently you can buy lighter or stronger springs for them.
i run one on my ca18det

they are specifically made for engines above 1.5L.
they make a nice rushing air sound. loud enough to hear if you are on the footpath, but it's not going to attract attention 100m down the road.

So is yours the Type II or the Type II Vee Port?
The Vee Port version is the newer one, and thats the one that still retails for about $280.
