Hey man, how about this for your bro?

1983 Nissan Bluebird GL
Great, reliable family wagon in good working order. Body is reasonably straight, no major dents. Paint is creamy white, has been recently touched up, no rust. 4 tyres with plenty of tread. wheels and rolling gear and diff in great condition. Interior is spotless, has been really well looked after throughout its life. Belonged to non smokers. The interior is very comfortable and clean, comes with stylish seat covers and floormats. All electricals work perfectly, AC works fine, does need a regass. Comes with manifold vacuum gauge and Tacho installed. Engine has been rebuilt no longer than 4 months ago, new headgasket, new exhaust manifold, all new gaskets throughout. In top working order. Would be perfect as a second car for run around or as a first car. Engine gets 10L/100Km fuel economy. Four speaker sound system run off stock cassete deck but wiring for a CD player is installed. Call 0400491119, 6296 5660 or email jinxinferno@hotmail.com to arrange a test drive. All offers welcome, $1699 price negotiable. No work needed. Rego until 28/4/04. More Rego can be negotiated.

My brother will have his car up for sale in the next few weeks (2-3 hopes)

1981 (I think) RA40 liftback Celica 5 speed Manual (mustard yellow).
Minor rust.
18R-C stock, needs a service and tune.
Clean interior, complete including factory reclining parcel shelf cover, basic stereo system (non origonal) 4 speakers, CD player, A/C works, Alarm.
Lowered with new shocks and springs (12 months old)
good rubber I'd say 75%+ last time I checked.

He's owned the car for about 2 years and knows it inside out. was his first car and served him well with only minor electircal issues that have been solved.
He's after $1300 for it open to neg. somewhat. with rego till June.

If you're keen on a Celica like this I also have an 18R-GEU and all required parts for the conversion into the RA40/28/23. this would give you an EFI powered 1st car (*goes back to the days*)
If you're keen we can work somthing out.

My brother may get on to confirm the details else PM me for his details.

Cheers
Simon.

Yeah, Simon is pretty much right on the spot, except that it's an 83' RA40, not an 81' model. Its just had a new head gasket and rear wheel bearings put in about 3 months ago as well. If you're interested then PM me and I'll get off some photos for ya.
