Hi,

My brother just bought a MA61 Supra, but it has a few differences to what I consider to be standard so I am not sure what it is.

It is in fantastic condition and he is really happy (it is really mint and runs very well).


Anyway - here are the differences.

It was bought with 2000 miles in 1983, and been in the family (of the guy he bought it off since).

Has ;
- 1982 model, champagne with sunroof
- Miles and kilometers on the speedo
- W57 box
- F303 diff
- Is RHD originally (not a US convert)
- Celica RA60 alloys (not supra ones like here)
- Rear fog lamps
- Yellow front fog lamps in bumper
- Factory 5M-GE Very Happy

Would anyone know what this is - it has all the aus plates on etc.

Just curious as to what market etc it would be for.

I take it has no flares?


It sounds very much like an import from Singapore or somewhere else that got another grade of import Supra.

Yeah sounds like an import of some description. The yellow foglights indicate Japan, but the MPH speedo suggests somewhere else. Maybe South Africa?

yeah, its a xx, i looked at that car, the guy said ex japan. owner seemed a bit dodgy, so didnt buy it. mate looked under the front of the car while i was talking to the dude, and it apparently had bent chassis rails...

hopefully nothign serious is wrong with it, hope you brother enjoys it Smile
