Diff Questions

been looking for diff options on a track car with a limited budget... the brakes on teh diff aren't as important as the ratio.
looking into things the ke70 corolla comes with a 4.3 ratio on the automatic version... and a 4.111 on the manual version.
would these diffs bolt into a Sprinter without serious mods?
what other options are avl... i plan to lock the diff as it will not be used on the road LSD whilst it would be nice is probably out of the budget i've set for this.

Go to the wreckers, you can get a centre (some T18s or something) with 4.3 gears (if you want 4.3 instead of 4.11), then start welding. Remember how cruddy weldies are!

according to drive.com.au the t18 has a 3.7 diff though?

Yeah, far as I know all T18s use 3.7, but I went to toyospares and bought what was marked as 't18 4.3', I counted the gears and it was a 4.3. Go figure!
