I got these complete hubs from a Z28 camaro 1/2 cut my dad bought....Im gonna try and see if i can use the braking system...plus they are 5 - stud Smile

Anyone know whether itd be possible? The discs are damn thick..and the brake itself is huge.

I doubt it. Not without a lot of work at least. You'd never be able to install those struts. It might be possible to fit the hub on the ma61 strut, but it'd be cheaper and easier go with what has already been done.

yeah I don't like your chances!

Why not sell them and take the MX83 strut route?
(Still if you want to keep the stock rims your dreaming if you are going to get much better brakes anyway)

Cheers

I still don't like the chances of the hub fitting (imperial vs metric), what are the chances that the stub axle is the same Laughing

Cheers

Ack. Of course it's not impossible! What's the PCD of these? 5x120? Not that I can see them in the pic, but the hub looks to be a lot like a Commodore. Namely, a sealed item that doesn't come off the stud axle, instead the whole lot just bolts on... However, as an interesting aside, earlier model Commodores (with removable hub bearings) actually have the same sized stub axle as an MA61...

All that said, of course it's not impossible to fit those brakes. It's just going to take a little bit of thinking out! I would say come over one arvo and let's have a play with it, except it's a bloody long way to come Evil or Very Mad

but then you couldnt get rid of me until it was done Razz

Does 110mm sound right? thats from the inside of one bolt to the centre of the furtherst one. 60mm spacing between studs...
