sa63 engine swaps Sun, 04 April 2004 09:44 Go to next message
We have a sa63 with the 2s in and wanna do a engine change. dont wanna be up for heaps of dollars either. What is a good bolt. How hard is the 18rgu to fit in with the 18r gearbox. Just change exhaust and new engine mounts. Also have a 3sge here. That will bolt staright in right?. Only problem is the efi isnt it. Does the efi from a 3sfe from a camry fit. Can u just cust the manifold leading to the plenium and alloy weld it up so it fits under the bonnet. Any info on it all would be great.

The the 3S bottom end is exactly the same as the 2S, but the 3S blocks have had one of the ribs ground off. If you want to see how people do the RWD 3S conversion, some have a look at mine sometime.
