Hi, can anyone who has done this mod tell me how they got the cable through the front firewall? I don't want to take it under the car and I can't find any holes in the front, so do i have to cut a hole or something?
Thanks

You should be able to just push it through one of the existing grommets in the firewall.... if not drill your own whole and get a grommet for it!

Put it in the boot. It's a whole lot easier.
Just a thought......

Weight distribution, it's 46/54 stock i think. More weight to the front would make it closer to 50/50.

Yeah adding more weight in the rear of an SC AW11 or moving stuff further back is a bad idea. They're twitchy enough as it is with all the extra weight of the SC unit and the e51 gearbox and lsd. Thats cause the AW11 was originally only designed to take the much lighter bigport 4AG and C50 gearbox. and none of the suspension was changed... they just bolted in the ZE and box and an extra 80-90kgs of weight.
Send it all front... (and keep your spare in). Extra weight in the front, pressuming you havent got rediculously hard front springs, is actually good for the cornering dynamics of an SC AW11. I.E. Means there is actually some weight in the front to transfer on turn-in... crisper, less understeer.
Take some pics of your job if you can, show us when you've finished.

you need to do some more research on AW11's my friend. there where changes in the suspension geometry between 4age models and 4agze models.
there are sites/info documenting this, but in my tierdness i cant find them..
i have my 800cca Oddesey battery in the boot where the air filter used to be. and 2 12" subs in the frunk to keep the front end feeling just right on the road. plus my front spoiler keeps me there even better..
