Celica SX.. ST162 (ASK ME FOR MORE PICS) Sun, 04 April 2004 16:20 Go to next message
Sad Well I finally got the testicular fortitude to list my car for sale. been trying to put it off as long as possible.
it is a 1988 Celica SX, 5 speed, only 148K kms, this car presents really well and is never thrashed. the only mods are. it is professionally lowered all round, C5 17inch alloy wheels, and a sports exhaust, the interior is absolutely immaculate and original, has all power options except sunroof, rego expires in December 2004, the engine still runs really smooth and doesn't miss a beat, NO oil leaks. I havent touched the interior at all and is still running the original stereo Very Happy (the volume knob is still there) Very Happy asking $6900. PRICE REDUCTION $6500

Beautiful car man, best of luck with the sale, hope that one goes to a good home! I wish mine was anywhere near that good condition. Mine is the same colour as that, i reckon its the best colour they came in for sure. According to toyota thats red, the colour is called "red" even though its maroon. i got quoted $180 a liter from a paint store for it too.

I have had a bit of interest shown in my camry, could be sold as early as friday Shocked
would you take $6000 flat for it?
when was the suspension done and did you ahve the bushes replaced? does the engine blow any smoke? have you had it compression tested lately? has it got any rego on it? do the tyres have much tread on them? would you be willing to help me get it to canberra if i did get the money for it>? The paint looks good in the photo, does it have many stone chips or faults at all? What would i need to have done to the car for a RWC?

jinxinferno. i am very fastidious with the maintenance of my car and is always kept in as immaculate condition mechanically. the bushes were replaced when the car was lowered the motor is still like new. no smoke. i havent had it compression tested, but Toyota (which is where i get it serviced) has assured me that the engine is in very good health. it has NSW rego till the end of December 2004. is there such a thing as a perfect paint job on a daily driver? if i told you it was perfect i would be lieing. i explained to "supergal" that someone had egged the car on the left guard and bonnet about 10 months ago, and it is a little faded in that area now about 25cm in diameter...doh. as for 6K and help get it to Canberra we can talk business when u sell your car and you are ready.
