I'm a uni student looking to buy a ST184R Celica Liftback... My ae82 rolla was taken out by some drunk when it was parked out the front of my house. He wrote off his car... my neighbours car, and my car is a repairable write off... I'm looking at anywhere within the 6k ball park... if you can go any lower... Very Happy

sorry to hear about your car mate, hope that guy get something more than a slap on the wrist!

You may struggle to find that model for that price, I have seen the odd one here and there for that price, but they are generally high km/quite rough.

For 6k you would be better off looking at a twin cam rolla or earlier model celica (celica)...like mine.. Rolling Eyes You can still get efi, efi twin cam, and a fair few electric goddies, albeit a bit older. There are a few celica's on the forums atm, mine included.

seriosly though 184's are generally around 7.5k for decentish one. With any luck you might just be lucky.
Good luck anywasy,

Cheers
Nigel

Thanks for your advice mate... your cars in tasmania is it? Just a tad bit out of my reach... I have seen a fair few celica's within the 6-7k ball park.... I am happy with anything between 130-170km... they have pretty good engines and can take a fair bit... and maybe I am able to stretch a bit further for a decent one.... only a bit... hahaha...

Thanks mate... as I said... I would really like the ST184R... something about it's curves that really appeal... although I would like to swap one engine model back... or VTEC it down the track... how's that for unique hey...
