Hey all,

I understand that the standard GZE computer goes into limp mode and the car dont run to well if this isnt connected..Im thinking mine isnt..
Can someone please tell me where the hell is it? and what does it look like?

if you have an afm type 4agze you may not actually have one. (some do though) it should be bolted to the block near the oil filter & oil pressure switch.

Its under the intake manifold, a real biatch to get to if the engine is in the car.

doh! yes you are right - it's on the inlet side - near the front of the engine. one wire goes into it. looks similar to the oil pressure sender (which is what i confused it with earlier)

On my GZE the knock sensor sits right above the bolt that holds the rear of the water lines to the block.

So if the motor is in front of you (RWD setup).
It is on the Intake side (left) about 3/4 of the way down. So roughly at the end of the word SUPERCHARGER on the cam cover, look down around there. I suspect the S/C manifold may be blocking your view though.

Thats the side i was looking at to begin with.. I think i might need glasses or a freakin Parascope to see up in there..

Extra two cylinders??? yeh id love em if it would fit.. But id put a real 6 cyl in it Smile 1jz baby.. Hows your cylinder #6 going anyways? overheated yet? heheheehhehehehe j/k
